My name is Joaquim Carvalho Jr, I also go by Jack/Jax by my friends. I’m a Certified Master Ford technician and a Certified trained BMW technician. Currently working a Ford Dealership and I’ve been working in this field for about 14 years. I’ve always had a love for drifting since it first came here in 2004. I finally started drifting in 2018 when I got tired of being on the bleacher side of the fence and told myself I had to make it happen to compete in drifting competitions, whether it be in the highest form, traveling the world, or just the plain Pro-Am competitions, regardless, I’m competitive, hard-working and once my mind is set, I always put in the highest effort to make things happen.
This car was originally my daily driver turned drift car. 2001 BMW 330i on a stock power train with minor engine mods and a tune, BC racing coilovers, SLR angle kit, handbrake. 3 years of consistent driving and a few mini comps, my engine blew, which then led me to building for the Ford Coyote swap into the E46 chassis. Fully rebuilt by me Ford Coyote V8 engine, TR3650 trans, Shaftmasters 3.5″ aluminum custom driveshaft. I personally fabricated a 4 to 1 headers to a 2.5″ exhaust system with flowmaster mufflers. I also fabricated the engine mount brackets and trans mount brackets to use the E46 chassis engine and trans mounts for convenience ordering, as well as a fabricated power steering pump bracket to use an E46 hydraulic power steering pump. Using an S197 chassis radiator from CSF radiators. Mcleod street/strip clutch kit. HP tuners MPVI3, Haltech digital dash, Ford Performance Control Pack, Deatschwerk fuel pumps, filters and surge tank.
