Hi yall I’m Chase. I’ve been into cars for longer than I can remember and have had all sorts of different cars although currently I just have a supercharged mini, a Miata, and this bmw to keep me busy. I’ve been driving for almost three years and have been to tracks across Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana but am always looking to find new places. I’ve driven road course events, autocross, drifting and a tiny bit of rally as well. I’m from Springboro, Ohio so I spend most of my time with Drift Indy. I am a senior mechanical engineering student at Kettering University in Flint, Michigan. I currently work at BWI Group who is known for their Magneride and Areoride suspension systems and ABS braking systems as well. I’ve been drifting with the Banana Boys drift team for over a year and am having a great time progressing with the rest of the team.
My car consists of stock drivetrain including the 2.5L m50 running on a LinkECU and stock trans and diff. I have SLR angle up front and I run mostly oem bmw wheels. Some little things are a Wilwood Handbrake and dual caliper system, Felony Form overfenders, and just about every Garagistic product out there. I use Chase Bays for my power steering system and probably will for other fluid management as well. I can never seem to get the car quiet enough but currently I have an ISR muffled exhaust and a vibrant resonator (still way too loud). I try to keep my car pretty clean and simple, while cutting as much weight as possible. Currently the car is down to just over 2700 pounds.
